10 May 2012
I am buzzing
with excitement! I had my 5th Module training this
afternoon, where we are told what countries we would be assigned to.
Guess who I will
be assigned to? No other than our own GBR, as you may guess I am a little giddy
right now. There are 12 Games Makers that are assigned to team GB, with an
estimated team size of 754, so not many stressed athletes to look after!
The good news is
that there is another Kraft Employee Andy Swift who will be joining me looking
after Team GB.
Most of the
Games Makers already know who they are assigned to now, from what I already
know, someone has been assigned to New Zealand, another one Bahamas, and the US
Virgin Islands..
So as you can
see things are starting to hot up nicely now. I have my Driving Course to
go on this Sunday, which is a full day 8.30am – 6pm. The second course for me
is 9th June.
We will then have venue training, I am not sure if it
is the same weekend yet as the British Olympic Trials which I will be involved
in, as they have just changed the dates.
My first day
will start on the 9th July and I will be there until the 15th
August.
